Dar es Salaam (from Arabic: دار السلام‎ Dār as-Salām, "the house of peace"; formerly Mzizima) is the former capital and largest city in Tanzania. It is the largest city in East Africa by population, as well as a regionally important economic centre. Located on the Swahili coast, the city is one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

Duhok City is located in the Kurdistan region, in the north part of Iraq, north-east of Mosul, 65 km to the north-east border with Turkey, and about 180 km north and north-east to the Kurdistan/Syrian border. Duhok is also 165 km south-east to the capital of Kurdistan region, Erbil.

The region of focus is Harare which is both the capital city of Zimbabwe as well as one of the ten Provinces in the country. Focus will be on selected high density suburbs with a large number of informal business enterprises engaged in fabrication of products. Two sites that are of particular interest are ‘Siyaso’ in Mbare and ‘Gazaland’ in Highfield, two of the oldest high density suburbs in Harare.

Johannesburg, also known as Jozi, Joburg and Egoli), is the largest city in South Africa and is one of the 50 largest urban areas in the world. It is the provincial capital and largest city in Gauteng, which is the wealthiest province in South Africa. While Johannesburg is not one of South Africa's three capital cities, it is the seat of the Constitutional Court. The city is located in the mineral-rich Witwatersrand range of hills and is the centre of large-scale gold and diamond trade.

Manila is the capital of the Philippines. It is the 7th largest city in the National Capital Region (NCR), otherwise called Metropolitan Manila. NCR is one of the 17 regions in the Philippines. It is located at the mouth of Pasig River and Manila Bay and found in South-western part of Luzon, the biggest island of the Philippine archipelago.

Sanandaj (Kurdish: سنە‎ Sine; Persian: سنندج‎) is the capital of Kurdish culture and Kurdistan Province in Iran. With a population of 414,069, Sanandaj is the twenty third largest city in Iran and the second largest Kurdish city.
